Last night’s Warriors game against the Utah Jazz felt like a familiar story with a few twists. Stephen Curry was in fine form once again, knocking down six 3-pointers on his way to 31 points—marking his fifth 30-point outing in six games. Alongside him, Jimmy Butler quietly impacted the game with 18 points, seven assists, and six rebounds, helping Golden State secure a convincing 134-117 win.

The Warriors, fresh off their first home loss of the season last Friday, came out a bit sluggish, starting 0-for-6 from the field and falling behind 11-0 early. But once they found their rhythm, mainly with a dominant 41-point second quarter, they clearly took control. Buddy Hield stood out from the bench, contributing 20 points, while Moses Moody and Gary Payton II added solid support with rebounding and playmaking.
Utah’s Keyonte George was impressive, pouring in 28 points and registering seven assists, but the Jazz continues to struggle on the road, extending their losing skid there to 0-5 this season. The Warriors’ 10-game home winning streak over Utah also held strong, underscoring the challenges Utah faces in this matchup.
The night also featured the debut of the refreshed “The Town” jerseys and court, a nod to the Warriors’ deep roots in Oakland before their move to Chase Center. Missing from the lineup was Draymond Green, sidelined with a minor foot sprain, with hopes he returns soon along with Jonathan Kuminga, who remains out with knee issues.
All in all, the Warriors showcased resilience and depth last night, overcoming a rough start to put on an offensive display that reasserts their dominance at home and keeps them focused on their championship goals moving forward.
